Challenge:
Make Works is a directory of manufacturers, enabling artists and creatives access to various production techniques. We were asked to create a gift for MakeWork’s Patreon supporters a marketing action to maintain loyalty with their fan base and brand perception. The gift had to be digital as there was no budget for production or postage.
Approach:
Our solution was to create a means of production. We developed a ‘typeface’ inspired by manufacturing processes. Essentially wingdings on steroids. Using widely available programs like Text Edit or Word you can create patterns and collages instantly.
Result:
The result was a big hit, we created something infused with Make Works brand values. Easy to access and a catalyst for production and discussion.
